About the Role

Advanz Pharma is in a period of transformative growth, which will see it significantly expand the scale and scope of its business, mainly focused in Europe, Canada, and Australia through a combination of acquisitions and pipeline launches. 

As Strategic Programme Manager focus biosimilars, you will be responsible for leading the main biosimilar launches post-signature until launch by leading cross-functional and international Teams and working closely with our core partners. This role is highly strategic for the growth of ADVANZ Pharma and will have a lot of visibility to Senior Management.

What You’ll Do: 

• Overall responsible for the successful on-time introduction of defined products in line with agreed business strategies and objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure a best-in-class on-time delivery of the project/ programs.
• Complete oversight of the project plan and the ongoing activities to proactively manage interdependencies and identify opportunities to accelerate/ improve.
• Anticipate risks and develop mitigation actions ahead of the risks.
• Propose/drive improvements or alternative approaches to obtain improved project results.
• Set up and manage a cross-functional project Team creating a common sense of purpose to ensure best in class Team dynamics, collaboration, and trust.
• Set and agree project/programme budget and thereafter monitor and control.
• Ensure regular review of business cases in line with governance rules.
• Set up and chair regular and frequent cross-functional project team meetings.
• Ensure appropriate documentation and tracking in line with company guidelines.
• Ensure updates to main stakeholders, including steering groups, executive committee members, and other stakeholders as necessary.
• Proactively liaise with internal and external experts to ensure adoption of best practice.

About You

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference to patients’ lives.

For this role, you will also have the following:

Qualifications: 

• Tertiary qualification in any discipline within Life Sciences or
• MBA or Scientific Master's degree

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Significant experience in managing projects within the pharmaceutical sector, optimally in regional or corporate roles and/or consulting background with experience in Pharma. A relevant part of the time should have been on biosimilars.
• Proven track record in project management in development or launch projects with a focus on biosimilars. Optimally candidate has worked in Generics or Specialty Pharma
• Experience of working on pipeline growth within the pharmaceutical sector (product in-licensing, etc.)
• Understanding of main Pharmaceutical Value Chain elements, such as  Regulatory, Development, Production, and Supply, Go to market approaches with a specific focus on biosimilars.
• Experience managing multiple strategic projects / work-streams.
• Excellent people management skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and use strong writing and verbal skills to communicate facts, figures, and ideas to others.
