About the Role
As ADVANZ PHARMA continues to strengthen its position as the partner of choice for specialty, hospital, and rare disease medicines, we have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, Marketing & Communications
You will lead marketing and communication activities for a broad portfolio, including biosimilars, antibiotics, and established brands across France and Benelux, playing a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, reputation, and commercial growth in these regions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all marketing activity, including market insights, strategy development, tactical deployment, and promotional campaign execution, for both existing and new product launches.
- Ensure all marketing and promotional activities comply with local legislation and industry codes of practice.
- Own the P&L for the France & Benelux promoted business unit and deliver the strategic and tactical plan.
- Analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, regulatory, corporate development, sales, medical, strategic development, pricing, supply chain, business intelligence, and finance teams to execute sales tactics aligned with regional strategy.
- Manage, coach, and develop the France & Benelux marketing team, inspiring a shared vision and promoting professional growth.
- Prepare and manage marketing budgets, ensuring robust ROI evaluation.
- Represent ADVANZ PHARMA externally to key stakeholders as required.
- Contribute to making ADVANZ PHARMA a desired place to work, fostering a “One Team” environment across all business functions.
About You
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference to patients’ lives. For this role, you will also have the following:
Qualifications:
- Degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field; scientific background (preferred)
- Fluency in French and English is essential; additional languages such as German or Dutch are a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Circa 10 years’ experience in marketing, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry - including biosimilars or antibiotics experience would be desirable
- Proven experience managing marketing and communication activities under strict regulatory frameworks (France & Benelux).
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L and marketing budgets.
- Experience in new product launches, market insights, and promotional strategy development.
- A positive, solution-oriented, and “can-do” approach, with the agility to adapt to changing business needs and budget constraints.
- Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively across functions with openness, honesty, and respect.
- Strong learning agility and desire to continuously improve and grow with ADVANZ PHARMA.
- Ability to work independently and with agencies, balancing operational excellence with strategic oversight.
