About the Role

As ADVANZ PHARMA continues to establish itself as the go-to partner for the commercialization of complex medicines across Europe, we are thrilled to announce the opportunity to join our growing Austrian team. We are hiring two Key Account Managers (of three across the DACH region) to support the launch of an exciting new biosimilar. These roles offer the chance to make a real impact in rheumatology and/or gastroenterology, shaping access and improving outcomes for patients in Austria.

Working in a collaborative matrix structure, the KAM will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, increasing product adoption, and ensuring successful market access within their designated territory.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Lead field-based promotion and scientific communication of biosimilar products within rheumatology and/or gastroenterology

  • Engage healthcare professionals (HCPs), KOLs, and other key decision-makers across hospitals and clinics

  • Gather and share actionable field insights to inform broader strategy

  • Create and execute robust key account and territory plans aligned with ADVANZ’s strategic goals

  • Use multichannel tools to deepen disease understanding and enhance brand reach

  • Develop compliant, patient-centric initiatives that support product uptake

  • Identify innovative local opportunities to grow the business and address unmet needs

 

About You

We are looking for proactive and passionate commercial professionals who want to shape the future of biosimilar medicine in Austria.

What you’ll bring:

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in German (spoken and written); proficient in English

  • University degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field

  • Valid driver’s license

Experience & Skills:

  • Proven sales experience in specialty care – ideally with product launches in biosimilars or biologics

  • Strong understanding of the Austrian healthcare landscape, especially within rheumatology, gastroenterology, or immunology

  • Solid business acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets

  • Confident in project and stakeholder management

  • Competent in at least three of the following:

    • Business Planning & Execution

    • Market Insights to Action

    • Disease & Therapy Area Expertise

    • High-Performance Culture

  • Experience using multichannel engagement strategies to build brand and disease awareness

Soft Skills:

  • Emotionally intelligent, adaptable, and collaborative
