About the Role
The main purpose of this role is to coordinate the day-to-day activities of Accounts payable. Also, to ensure all the periodic (daily/weekly/monthly) reports are prepared accurately & timely and be a one-point contact for external/internal customers.
What You’ll Do:
- To ensure that all transactions relating to purchases and stock movements are accurately
and promptly recorded in the company’s Accounting System (SAP)
- To ensure that all Company procedures (SOPs) are followed concerning the processing of all sorts of purchase invoices (assets, services & inventory) and payments. Prepare SOPs wherever applicable and review periodically.
- Preparation of weekly vendor payments for the Group and get reviewed & approved on the same day.
- Ensure that the VIM open invoices are under control by following up with internal stakeholders to release the timely payments to vendors. Any exceptions to be monitored closely and escalated.
- Review the ageing regularly and ensure nothing goes beyond 90days and all the debit balances are sorted out.
- Reconciliation of Creditors monthly and closing any open items from previous reconciliations.
- Monitor the daily dashboard report and ensure all the invoices are timely and accurately accounted.
- Monitor any agreement-related regular payments, direct debits, and payments through the bank and ensure they are properly accounted.
- To assist in the preparation of regular and ad hoc management information
- To assist in the achievement of the Departmental Objectives and Strategies
- To ensure the generation of an accurate creditors' aging report on a periodic basis
- Ensure all the audit queries related to AP are handled and answered properly.
- Ensure all month-end schedules are submitted within the stipulated time period along with variance analysis.
- To prepare & update the Audit schedules monthly.

About You

For this role, you will also have the following:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce Or
- Postgraduate diploma in IFRA (ACCA – UK).
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Must have significant experience in the Accounts Payable function for countries like Germany and Italy.
- Hands-on experience with SAP FICO or SD (S4 HANA).
- Thorough understanding of business processes and basic knowledge of accounting.
- Self-starter, strategic mindset, results-driven, stakeholder-centric focus, team player, and accountability.
- Open and adaptable to challenging environments.
- Ability to work with different Global cultures and different time zones.
- Competent with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and use strong writing and verbal skills to communicate facts, figures, and ideas to others.
