About the Role
The primary responsibility of the Regional Business Manager is to achieve designated sales objectives through oversight of customer/accounts within the assigned territory, while ensuring compliance to ADVANZ PHARMA policies and legislative requirements. This role involves fostering commercial growth within established indications through the implementation of a comprehensive strategic business plan, aimed at the augmentation of the customer portfolio.
What You’ll Do:
- Manages key PDT accounts to include all duties as needed to maintain and grow existing photodynamic therapy (PDT) business.
- Has knowledge and experience in hospital/institutional selling environment and is proficient in the following areas: government and private pay reimbursement, pharmacy, and therapeutics (P&T) review, hospital administration, pharmacy relations, and direct operating room/procedure suite experience.
- Creates strategic territory business plans which includes call plan dynamics and other strategic brand priorities such as KOL speaker meetings, physician training academies.
- Adheres to the established sales call plan and makes effective sales calls on physicians that treat pulmonary & thoracic malignancies and their staffs providing current, accurate, company approved information to physicians and other customers.
- Supports the institution in a manner to ensure favorable patient outcomes when PDT with Photofrin is utilized as a treatment.
- Conducts account and physician targeting and profiling to optimize sales activity productivity and effectiveness.
- Compliant and effective collaboration with the wider cross functional team including Medical, Regulatory and QA to deliver favorable patient outcomes.
- Raises product and Company awareness in thoracic malignancies by calling on Treating Physicians including Thought Leaders.
- Maintains knowledge of competitor products, techniques, and activities.
- Maintains accurate and current records of physician, clinics, customer calls, and follow up actions via an electronic Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Researches, reads, and studies medical literature to improve product knowledge in order to increase sales effectiveness.
- Provide accurate and complete reporting data on all assigned and required compliance programs and any other ad hoc projects/tasks allocated by line manager as required to meet business needs.
- Maintain strict adherence to ADVANZ PHARMA's compliance framework, which encompasses policies, procedures, guidance materials, as well as national and state legal mandates related to healthcare compliance, to be upheld consistently.

Qualifications:
- University Graduate in Business or Life Sciences related degree
- Clean Driver’s license
Experience & Competences:
- 5+ Year experience in U.S. medical and/or pharmaceutical sales
- Previous experience in acquiring and integrating mature brands
- Experience in calling on thoracic surgeons, interventional pulmonologists, and advanced gastroenterologists
- Proven track record of managing external medical and/or pharmaceutical sales providers
Knowledge & Skills:
- Midwestern Medical Device/Pharmaceutical market awareness
- PDT Experience
- Multi-cultural awareness
- Competitor pricing/and tariff
- New Product Development and launch process
- Good understanding legal commercial contracts
- Numerical – Ability to understand a P&L and verbalize upon request.

Salary Range: $96,250- $110,000
Discretionary Company Bonus: 20%
