About the Role
The Healthcare Partnership Manager (HPM) is responsible for the adoption, awareness, and market access of ADVANZ Hospital brands within allocated health economies. As the single point of contact the HPM will work across the Trust/ICB/HB, fostering relationships with HCPs, payors and other relevant stakeholders at regional & local level involved with the implementation of biosimilars and tendered products. The role requires a deep understanding of the biosimilar landscape, tendering process to strategically position ADVANZ hospital & biosimilar brands as the product of choice.
The successful candidate will be capable of working in a multicultural environment to help drive the success of the company. He/She/They should be entrepreneurial with good IT knowledge. Importantly, given the high profile and accountability of the HPM role, it is critical that the successful candidate operates with the highest degree of integrity and compliance and has a sound understanding of the ICB landscape and reimbursement process.
The HPM will report to the Director of Sales, whilst collaboratively working with all relevant strategic function, including marketing, customer support, retail, medical and to achieve optimal market access positioning and successful product uptake for defined hospital brands across Integrated Care Boards and Health Boards. The expectation will be for the role holder to live on territory.
What You’ll Do:
• Stakeholder Engagement: build & maintain relationships with healthcare providers, KOLs, pharmacists and payors (including medicines management) and all levels of the ICBs/HBs.
- Deliver evidence-based value proposition for biosimilar adoption to relevant stakeholders positioning ADVANZ as a partner of choice.
- Market Access: work with local ICBs/HBs and regulatory bodies to influence policy on hospital brands/biosimilar adoption.
- Drive uptake of tender positioning through optimal formulary inclusion.
- Maintain relevant knowledge of reimbursement frameworks and local biosimilars trends - sharing insights with wider commercial team.
- Strategic planning and execution: develop and implement clear account plans to drive uptake of hospital brands/biosimilars across targeted regions.
- Data analysis: monitor and analyse market trends and adoption rates within the targeted accounts.
- Gain feedback and insights from relevant hospital/biosimilar stakeholders to support future forecasting.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align strategies, leverage resources, and ensure a coordinated approach to account management.
Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of the ICB and HB structure and decision making reimbursement process.
- Extensive understanding of the ICB/HB prescription medicines market, formulary inclusion process and healthcare system.
- Knowledge of sales strategies and techniques for driving formulary inclusion, optimisation, and sales growth.
- Proficiency in market analysis, including competitor intelligence gathering and customer insights.
- Clear understanding of the ABPI code of conduct and the requirement for compliance at all times.
- Proficiency in all office based platforms for managing internal reporting.

- Strong account management skills: with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships and foster long term partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Selling skills: being able to build trust and effectively influence and negotiate to achieve mutual outcomes to create a win:win:win for NHS, patients and ADVANZ PHARMA.
- Customer-focus: demonstrating a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences, tailoring approaches and solutions accordingly to focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: including the ability to articulate the value proposition of products or services, addressing customer needs and concerns. Adapt communication style and messaging to resonate with different stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Proficiency in using digital platforms and technologies: for effective communication and engagement.
- Analytical skills: to interpret market data, identify trends, and develop targeted account strategies leveraging data and evidence; to be able to mitigate risk and pivot accordingly.
- Account planning and project management skills: to drive execution of account plans, initiatives and deliver pull-through to deliver sales targets.
- Strategic thinking: being able to think critically and strategically, considering market dynamics and long-term objectives when developing account plans.
- Stakeholder mapping: with the ability to plan and evolve influence maps of key decision makers, incorporating levels of influence and impact to drive the optimal formulary positions within key and funnel accounts.

Qualifications:
- Graduate / degree level education
- Post graduate education
- Pharmacy or Medical qualifications
Experience & Competences:
- Ideally with over 3-5 years pharmaceutical sales experience in selling to key stakeholders across ICS’s/ ICBs /HB’s
- Demonstrable experience of building and executing ICB/Hospital Trust account plans with defined success outcomes
- Demonstrated sales success within pharmaceutical industry
- Good networks and relationships within disease areas and ICS/ICB /HB’s, would be an advantage
- Demonstrable experience of supporting patient pathway design
- Demonstrable experience with successful product launches with biosimilars and/or specialty generics
- Experience with products associated with Advanz products diseases
- Proven track record in account management
- Ability to manage a CRM Customer database
- Experience using Veeva Promomats
- Working knowledge of Omnichannel marketing and to be able to utilize each media source to contact all related customers
